How food is Digested & Excreted by Gastro-intestinal System ???
If we see the normal Physiology of Gastro-intestinal System, there are many processes are included in this system are following :
- Ingestion : The food enter into the mouth & then food is chewed by teeth & make a bolus this process is known as Ingestion
- Digestion : When the food pass out through the Gastro-intestinal Tract, the large molecules of food is converted into small molecules is known as Digestion Process.
- Absorption : The small molecules that are necessary for the body is absorbed into body is known as Absorption.
- Excretion : The waste material that are not needed fr body are excreted through the anus is known as Excretion.
